The CEADZ Consortium is happy to announce that we have extended the deadline for applications for the Women Leadership Program.
About the Women’s Leadership Program
The program seeks to build a pool of women and youths who change the status quo. The course is designed to meet the specific needs of women in mid-level management positions in Zimbabwean civil society organizations by recognizing women’s lived experiences. The program intentionally takes women leaders through a personal transformation journey that taps into their innate potential.
The course will equip women with effective leadership skills and competencies for being effective agents of change, focusing on the individual as well as the collective. The program will tap into the expertise of a selection of gender-sensitive, and experienced personal development experts to walk this journey with the women.
The program will begin at the end of November and run for 12 months. There will be opening and closing sessions that will run for one full week. If your application is successful we expect that you will attend both of these sessions. Following the opening session, participants will be organized into mentoring groups. Women Leaders are expected to practice learnings from the first session in their workplace and everyday lives. The Program will end with a closing session that will review the Leadership experience and build knowledge on the theoretical and practical aspects of civic organizing.
After successfully completing the program, participants will receive a certificate.
Formal training will be at a carefully selected venue that will support the transformative journey. The venue will create an ambiance that allows the woman to be in touch with her inner self, bringing inner healing and restoration where it is needed. The program is anchored in values and ethical aspirations, supported by an effective coaching system for effective women-driven, impactful leadership in the Civic Society.
