NANGO is the secretariat of the Civil Society National Budgeting Coalition – a network of civil society organisations that are focusing on lobby and advocacy to influence public participation in the national budget cycle as well as proffering fiscal policy priorities under the auspices of pro-poor budgeting framework. This initiative also embraced gender-based budgeting, disability responsive budgeting and child-friendly budgeting. In line with the Social Accountability Monitoring Framework used by NANGO, the Fiscal Robot Model was developed as a framework for Budget Monitoring and Expenditure Tracking.
