CALL FOR DELEGATES: Zimbabwe Climate Reference Group

The Zimbabwe Climate Reference Group (ZCREG) a Civil Society platform working on building inclusive and sustainable actions in Zimbabwe and partnership with the Government of Zimbabwe through the Ministry of Environment, Climate and Tourism Industries is hereby calling for individuals willing to be part of the Government led delegation to Sham El Sheikh in the Arab Republic of Egypt for this year’s 27th Conference of Parties (COP27) to be held from the 6th to 28 November 2022.

This initiative is to build a common position between State and Non-State actors on Zimbabwe’s climate responsiveness to the climate crisis both locally and as a globe. The Government of Zimbabwe will have the final say on the list and the selected delegates will be observers of the government negotiations whilst having an opportunity of informing the Government Negotiators using different spaces available during the COP27 conference such as the Zimbabwe Pavilion.

Those interested are therefore requested to submit:

1. Detailed CurriculumVitae (CV) with traceable references.
   
2. Motivational letter on why you think you are fit for purpose to represent CSOs and Zimbabwe at COP27 AND indicate your source of funding for participation at COP27 so that the Government can assist in all required traveling logistics.
   
3. A pager on your organisation profile and how it relates to climate and environmental issues.
